Red Industries Get on the Right Track with Bourke:

Sydney Street Stock racer Leigh Bourke is proud to announce that Sand Blasting and Protective Coatings specialists, Red Industries, have come on board as a sponsor of Bourke’s # 69 EF Falcon for the remainder of season 2005/06.

The St Mary’s based company is looking forward to their association with Speedway for the very first time, as is Bourke who is hopeful of a long and propitious future with Red Industries.

“I’m more than pleased to have Red Industries come on board as a sponsor and every bit of support you receive is more than beneficial,” explained a pleased Bourke, who resides in suburb of Riverstone.

“Red Industries have never had an association with Speedway and they are very enthusiastic about having their brand on a race car.”

With the recent announcement of the RSA Australian Street Stock Title locked in for May 6 at Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway (TPCR), Bourke is looking forward to the remainder of the season.

“I certainly haven’t had the best of luck this season and hopefully by the time the Australian Title rolls around, I will have used up all my bad luck,” said the 28-year-old.

“With only a couple of shows left before the Australian Title, I’m looking to get some consistency back and make a good account of myself on my home track at the Title.”

Bourke’s most recent outing was at TPCR last Saturday night (February 25) where he managed a sixth place feature race finish after starting from the back of the field in the 15-lap event. Earlier in the night Bourke failed to finish his opening heat race due to a kill switch drama, and managed to finish eighth in his second heat.
