Sapphire Speedway is gearing up for round two on the 3rd of December with more speedway sedans, bikes and burnouts! A good day is expected for all with drivers setting their cars up for the track the weekend before on the club practice day.

Sapphire Speedway is a RAMS affiliated club and has obtained insurance through NDRA and with lower insurance the savings have been passed onto the drivers. A senior driver now has an entry fee of $10.00 and junior drivers $5.00 and with the low gate fee of $15.00 for adults and children under 14 free, Sapphire Speedway is now more affordable than ever for spectators and competitors.

The club in association with the bikes plan further improvements to the track over the next few months with improvements to the ladies toilets and a resurfacing of the track. This is in preparation for the RAMS titles that will be held at Sapphire Speedway on the Easter weekend of 2006.

Sapphire Speedway is a family orientated venue and encourages people to join the club on a social level for a small membership fee of $20.00 and attend the club days that are run through out the year. Competitive members require insurance as well and this will cover speedway sedans, burnout and demolition derbies.

Sapphire Speedway the place to be! Come along and meet the members and volunteers that make it happen and support your favorite driver! Gates open from 12 midday, canteen with light refreshments and fun for all the family!
